The Christ at the Checkpoint conference is announcing a special program with our US partner, the Middle East Fellowship (MEF).

We have come up with an exciting initiative opening the door to a significant presence and involvement for students at the conference, to be hosted in Bethlehem on March 5th - 9th, 2012.

The Christ at the Checkpoint MEF Students Delegation will be held March 2nd-12th. This program is an exciting opportunity for young and emerging voices among Evangelical Christians around the world to come together to take part in the conference in a meaningful way. Student delegation members will also have a chance to experience the Holy Land and develop relationships with their peers who understand the unique challenges of being a voice for their faith in their own community. While on the delegation, participants will form a unique community, living and eating together at the same Bethlehem hotel and will tour Jerusalem and Galilee together as a group.

Price: $775 (US) —Fully covers your room and board, the $400 conference fee and additional sight-seeing opportunities

Highlights:

The program is open to all English-speaking adults from the age of 18 up but there is a special focus on young adults who are students in college, graduate school, seminary or involved in youth ministries.

We're also excited to announce that Shane Claiborne, who will be giving a keynote address at the conference, will join the participants for a day visit to the troubled city of Hebron in the West Bank.
